What do I get when I buy a PDF?
The PDF in two versions, English and Italian, ready to download right after you pay. The download link is also sent to you by email, so you can open it again whenever you like.
Is the PDF available in English?
Yes. Every PDF comes with an English version that has the same content, and one purchase gets you both. That also makes it easy to share with relatives in Italy or anywhere else.
Can I print it?
Yes. The PDFs are laid out in A4 format, and some pages, like the family tree, are designed to be printed and filled in by hand.
Will the PDF tell me who my ancestors were?
No. A surname tells you where a word comes from and where it spread, while your own family's story is in birth certificates and parish registers. Every PDF includes a guide to help you start looking for it.
Does the PDF include my family's coat of arms?
A coat of arms belonged to one specific branch of a family, never to everyone who shares the same surname. When a family did have a coat of arms we tell its story, but we don't draw a "surname coat of arms."
My surname isn't here. Can you add it?
Our catalog grows with the most requested surnames. Ask for yours using the form on our Contact page. Before we publish a surname we check every piece of information, which is why we don't make PDFs to order.
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card. Payment is handled by Payhip and secured by Stripe; prices already include VAT.
Can I buy several PDFs at once?
Yes. On the checkout page you can add several PDFs to your cart and pay for them all at once.
Can I get a refund?
Because this is digital content you can download right away, at checkout we ask you to confirm that you want to receive it immediately: once you confirm, the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies. If the file is damaged or you can't download it, email us at [email protected] and we'll send it again or refund you.
